■Comments
I have decided to move to Swedish first division club Grasshopper. The team activity for the upcoming season has already started, and I was going to play for Cerezo this year too, but then I received an offer from overseas. I thought a lot but playing overseas has been my dream since I was little, so I have made this decision. The club tried to keep me, but in the end, they respected my dream of challenging myself.
I am grateful to the club for being supportive to me making a move at this time despite having a difficult season last year. As I have only worn the Sakura shirts since the academy, I have a very fresh and exciting feeling. In the 11 years since the academy, I have grown a lot as a footballer and as a person. I am very grateful to all the coaches, teammates, and staff I have met. I will do my best to live up to the name of the club. I would also like to thank all the partners, fans and supporters, Hanasaka Club members, and everyone involved with Cerezo Osaka. The Sakura blood is always flowing in me. WE ARE CEREZO. Ayumu Seko.
