GK Kim Jin Hyeon caught the cross from the right side of Shonan but lost the balance due to the force of the ball and fell into the goal area with his whole body. The match continued as it was, but as a result of the VAR-only review, a goal-in was recognized and Shonan scored the opener. After that, while Cerezo took possession but was not able to break Shonan’s defense, in the 27th minute they conceded the second goal from FK by header. It was blocked by the DF, but it was a powerful attack. In the 50th minute, Toshiyuki Takagi replaced Yuta Toyokawa, who was a starter since the match against Vissel Kobe in Section 14.

With this flow, they wanted to return one point first, but in the 52nd minute, they gave Shonan the next one again. Moreover in the 67th minute, they conceded the fifth goal from CK. While the flow of the game was completely inclined to Shonan, Cerezo used all substitutions in the 74th minute and tried hard to counterattack. Mutsuki Kato and Hiroshi Kiyotake also threw decisive shots, but they could not score in front of their opponent's tenacious defense.

Still, in the 80th minute, Ayumu Seko ran up with Kiyotake in a one-two, and when he finally entered the penalty area after receiving Yuta Koike's pass, he was fallen by the opponent DF and got a PK. In the 84th minute, Kiyotake scored this, and they returned one point. Also in the 88th minute, Kato, who came out to Kiyotake's through pass, got a scoring chance, but the shot slightly flew over the crossbar.

The game ended with 1-5 as it was. They did not win consecutive league games and three official games in a row, and marked the first defeat in the official match at Yodoko Sakura Stadium. However, they have no time to look down here. The next section, which will be held after a two days interval, is the Osaka derby with Gamba Osaka at away stadium. "Next, there is a good stage called Derby, so we definitely want to win there" (Yuta Toyokawa)

"For us, the players who grew up from the academy, we want to win against Gamba more than any other team. We, the players from the academy, will try to do our best to get the results.” (Motohiko Nakajima) said. The players are looking at the future as hard as they can.

It is a tough schedule with a series of battles, but now is the time for the entire team to unite and overcome this difficult situation.
