J1 vs Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo: Manager’s Comments
Yoon Jong Hwan
"Despite so many people coming along for us, we are sorry for not getting a good result. We had a good game in the 1st half, but we became a different team in the 2nd half. Before entering into the 2nd half, I told them 'the 2-1 score is still dangerous', and that became real. We were expecting the opponent would be work stronger in 2nd half, and our front line could not keep up well and the team struggled to have a good flow. Of course, the guys showed some efforts with eager, but we must reflect about how we lost our flow to the opponent. It's been quite a while since we lost such many goals, we should reflect about those lost goals, and make corrections. We play 90 minutes of soccer, and we had only 45 minutes of good & colourful plays today. It is important for us to learn how to be able to have 90 full minutes of good & colourful plays. It wasn't the game we can satisfy with the draw result, we must strive to win. It will be tougher both mentally and physically, but we must strive to win through. And I think, by getting over this, we'll transform into a better team."
